Understanding Our Refund & Credit Policy

At Blue Wave Basketball Club, we are committed to providing an outstanding experience for athletes looking for fun, competitive play in a well-structured and organized environment. Our commitment to this experience involves the hiring of dedicated staff to facilitate smooth event operations and the renting of facilities suitable for high-quality experiences. These logistical elements are essential to creating the atmosphere and experience our athletes have come to expect and enjoy.

 

When you register one or more athletes for a Blue Wave club, event, league or experiential program (each a “Program”), your purchase is more than just a sign-up; it is a commitment from us to the athletes, ensuring that everything is in place for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Due to the costs incurred from organizing a Program - which include not only logistical preparations but also the upfront expenses that support the high standards of our Programs - beginning February 3, 2025, we will maintain a new Refund and Credit policy for all Program registrations occurring after this date.

 

This policy ensures we can continue to offer the quality experience our athletes have come to expect and enjoy. Please take a moment to carefully review our “Refund & Credit Policy” before completing a Program registration.

 

BLUE WAVE REFUND & CREDIT POLICY

By registering for a Blue Wave Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  1. No Refunds: All registration fees are non-refundable. Once payment is received, there will be no refunds issued for any reason, including, but not limited to, Program cancellation, injury, absence, or non-participation.
  2. Event Cancellation: If Blue Wave cancels a Program due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, facility closure, or other reasons outside our control, Blue Wave will make every effort to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, Blue Wave may, in its sole discretion, offer full or partial credit which can be used toward participation in a future Blue Wave program.
  3. Missed Games/Practices: If an athlete misses any game, practice, or event for any reason, including illness, injury, or personal conflict, no refund will be issued. However, Blue Wave may, in its sole discretion, offer partial credit which can be used toward participation in a future Blue Wave program.
  4. Transfers: Registration fees are non-transferable. In other words, once an athlete is registered for a specific Program, their registration cannot be transferred to another athlete.
  5. Special Considerations: While we do not issue refunds, in exceptional cases, such as a serious medical condition or family emergency, we may consider offering full or partial credit on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be submitted in writing with appropriate documentation, and such requests are not guaranteed.
  6. Acknowledgment: By completing the Program registration process, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy.
