Welcome Home Coach Pilsbury!
Coach Pilsbury brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to the program.
Coach Pilsbury grew up in the Portland area where he played at Portland High School from 96-99. While at Portland he was a 3 year starter and leading his 99 team to the class A state championship going 22-0. Coach Pilsbury still hold Portland high school records for most points, 3pts, free throws and many more. He was a 3 time all state selection and was named Mr. basketball in 1999.
After Portland high school he attended Champlain college in Vermont for 1 year, then returned to Maine and attended Husson University. While at Husson he was a 2 time all American and was second in the Nation for scoring (NAIA Division 2). He was selected Maine all state first team select 3 times and Maine college player of the year.
After Husson coach Pilsbury began to train high school and youth players and fell in love with coaching. He started his coaching at the YES program, Blue Wave Basketball and then owner/director of Maine Elite Basketball. During his journey he has won multiple state, regional and National championships.
Coach Pilsbury has helped 75+ boys and girls go on to play college basketball at the division 1 – 2 – 3 (NAIA) (Juco) levels and have helped numerous players receive athletic scholarships.
Coach Pilsbury currently resides in Scarborough with his wife Ashley and 2 kids Jack & Isabella.
